Beyond The Shackles

Our amazing team is comprised of regular and part-time volunteers, life elevation coaches and counselors, motivational speakers, music ministers, teachers, and theatrical producers who have dedicated their lives to helping others. We take our convictions and turn them into action.

During our initial focus on serving incarcerated communities, we soon discovered that the need for a broader reach and connecting bridge to the families and inner-city communities affiliated with those in prison was paramount.  Furthermore, we also recognized the importance of partnering with those committed to restorative justice efforts that heal people and communities while working to reduce recidivism rates.  We continuously work to address the root challenges of those in incarcerated and marginalized communities for more fruitful, positive outcomes. 

 Our mission is to provide hope to the incarcerated, disenfranchised and their families through the vehicles of prison ministry, education, film,  theatrical arts, special programs, charity events and restorative justice efforts.  These opportunities provide men and women with the encouragement and tools needed to support positive changes from the inside out, resulting in the continued development of strong, positive leaders and influencers,  inside prison communities, with their families, and as returning citizens in our general society.
